Volunteering

I am happy to dedicate time to voluntary activities for various communities, as well as mentor junior colleagues, or offer pro bono coaching for those who find it difficult to afford my services.

  • Mentoring

Since 2017, I have been mentoring young people, primarily graduate students at Corvinus and the University of Technology in Budapest, who are interested in starting a career in the corporate world or in the field of project management. In 2019, I worked as a mentor in a mentorship program organized by the Hungarian Project Management Institute, supporting an IT program manager for 6 months. My lecture on leadership at the 16th Simonyi Conference at the Technical University in 2019 was also delivered with the aim of mentoring young engineering students as our next generation of leaders.

  • Pro bono

In 2019 I participated as a volunteer coach in the “Good service” program organized by the Hungarian chapter of the International Coach Federation. The ICF Charity program aims to provide coaching support to NGO managers and leaders who find it difficult to afford coaching services.

  • Professional volunteering

Since 2014, I have volunteered in a number of professional activities related to project management: in 2016, I was a founding member of the Women Project Managers Club of the Hungarian Project Management Association. In 2017-2019, I project managed a joint research project of the Hungarian Project Management Association and Corvinus University to survey the maturity of project management in Hungarian companies and in 2017 I was jury member at the local Tournament in Management and Engineering Skills organized at the Budapest Technical University by a European students’s association, ESTIEM. In 2019, I coordinated a project management workshop in Vienna, organized for the Hungarian, Austrian and Slovakian chapter members of the Project Management Institute, to discuss why projects fail.
